The apartment maintains its Montmartre character with wooden flooring and two authentic chimneys. It has a 30m2 living room/dining room with a sofa-bed for 2 persons, an American-style kitchen, a room with a double bed, and bathroom facilities. Also at your disposition: oven, washer/dryer, telephone, TV + DVD player, Internet access at 50 m.

Montmartre, with its gardens and famous Sacré-Coeur basilica, dominates all of Paris with its romantic staircase or funicular leading up to the Place de Tertre. It is here that Modigliani, Pissarro and Van Gogh lived and painted their most well-known works and where you can still admire painters and portraitists carrying out works in progress. It is the most artistic district in the capital where the charm of yesteryear is still present in the cobblestone streets, wine bars and little restaurants open late into the night and playing old Parisian songs. Concert halls (la Cigale, le Trianon Palace, etc.), cabarets (chez Michou, le Lapin Agile, etc.), music halls (le Moulin Rouge, la Nouvelle Eve, etc.), and businesses populate this both lively and yet rustic district. Within a 15 minute walk is the Opera and the Galeries Lafayette, and within 30 minutes is the Louvre and Chatelet/les Halles.

Anvers and Abbesses are the nearest subway stops only 100 meters from the apartment which is located in a beautiful Haussman-style building at the foot of the Sacré-Coeur gardens, amidst a charming retro courtyard with absolute calm.
