A RENTAL AGREEMENT is made between an OWNER and a TENANT. These terms and conditions are made in full consciousness and good physical and mental health. The prevailing terms and conditions must be well understood and obeyed by the TENANT.
- As a TENANT you agree to not use this accommodation for professional purposes, as a business unit, office, or for illegal practices.
- The fee the TENANT has agreed on and paid for includes weekly rent, linens, standard kitchen appliances, heating, electricity, maintenance costs, insurance, and all taxes.
- The TENANT, including all of the Tenant’s family members and acquaintances, agree to not take any actions that can or may violate public order or disturb other residents in the building.
- The TENANT agrees to allow access to the OWNER, with at least one day’s notice (except in emergency), to carry out their responsibilities.
- The OWNER or a representative of the Owner is allowed to come to the apartment with a potential tenant to view the apartment for future rental purposes.
- The OWNER is not responsible for any lost personal property/assets of the Tenant in any case of loss, damage, or theft. The Tenant agrees that he/she will not claim for any compensation for the loss.
- The TENANT agrees to be fully responsible for any theft that may occur in the ACCOMMODATION during his/her stay as a result of his/her negligence.
- The TENANT agrees to be fully responsible for all of the contents of the ACCOMMODATION, including furniture, utilities and fixtures, appliances, etc., which will always belong to the owner of the ACCOMMODATION. The OWNER has the right to claim compensation from the Tenant for any loss and damage occurred during his/her stay.
- Rent extension is possible upon a written agreement from the OWNER subject to availability and for a maximum of 3 months.
- Changes on arrival and departure dates can only be done at the latest 2 weeks prior to your arrival.
- Cancellation can be made at the latest 3 months prior to the Tenant’s arrival date. Any payments that have been made are not refundable if the cancellation is made less than 3 months prior to the tenant’s arrival.
- No animals are allowed in the ACCOMMODATION, unless by prior arrangement.
- If the Tenant later decides to depart before the agreed departure date, there will be no refund for the balance of the days in the rental agreement.
- The Tenant agrees to be fully responsible for the condition of the ACCOMMODATION at the end of the rental period, in line with the agreement with the Owner.
- The TENANT agrees to sign an inventory list containing a complete description of the apartment condition when the Tenant and the Owner arrive in the apartment. Prior to the Tenant’s departure, the TENANT must sign the inventory, stating that there was no damage or loss in the accommodation during the Tenant’s stay.
- The TENANT agrees to pay a security deposit as a warranty to the ACCOMMODATION owner for any damage in the accommodation, building, fixtures, appliances, furniture, covers, kitchen utensils, linens, etc., that may be caused by the Tenant. The deposit will be fully refunded by the ACCOMMODATION owner if there is no damage during the Tenant’s stay in the accommodation, as determined in this clause and in the agreement. Should the damage cost more than the deposit, the Tenant agrees to pay the balance of the cost.
- The TENANT agrees to maintain the apartment to be complete, orderly and clean at all times. If prior to the Tenant’s departure the apartment is found to be dirty and disorderly, the Tenant agrees to pay €50 service fee.
- The OWNER has the absolute right to discharge any Tenant without prior notice if the Tenant disrespects and does not adhere to the terms and conditions set out in this rental agreement.
I have read and fully understand all of the requirements set out in this rental agreement. I, the undersigned, agree and accept the above requirements, in good mental and physical health, and without any intimidation from any other party.
